When I moved to Strasbourg — the Capital of Christmas — I knew I had to create something special for the festive season. This city comes alive with lights, scents, and a magic that’s impossible to resist. And what better way to celebrate that spirit than through a Strasbourg Christmas photoshoot?
2024 was the first year I opened my studio for Christmas mini sessions — and it quickly became one of my favorite projects of the year.
My First Christmas Mini Photo Sessions in Strasbourg
I wanted these sessions to feel warm, intimate, and authentic — something that captures the cozy beauty of the season without feeling too staged or commercial. Families, couples, and little ones came by, wrapped in soft knits and festive smiles.
It was such a joy to see how everyone brought their own story to the space. For some, it was their first Christmas in Strasbourg; for others, a yearly family tradition they wanted to preserve in photos.
A Warm and Cozy Christmas Photoshoot Experience
The setup was inspired by simple, Scandinavian-style Christmas homes — soft textures, warm lights, and a natural palette that let the emotions shine through.
The studio smelled faintly of pine and cinnamon, and every laugh felt like a little piece of the season captured forever. These sessions were short and relaxed — around 20 minutes — perfect for busy families who still wanted a meaningful moment to hold onto.

Creating a Christmas Photography Tradition in Strasbourg
This first Strasbourg Christmas photoshoot series marked the beginning of a new tradition for me — one I can’t wait to continue each year.
It’s about more than just photos; it’s about pausing for a moment in the middle of the festive rush, being together, and celebrating the warmth of human connection.
I’m already dreaming about what this year’s sessions will look like — but one thing is certain: the heart of it will always stay the same.
